This week's sketch over at
Let's Capture Our Memories is an interesting one! I thought I'd step outside of my box and give it a try, since I'm not normally one who cuts her photos into shapes. It turned out pretty interesting, and it's growing on me! Head over to see what the team did with this sketch - there are pages and cards to give you inspiration!

Supplies used:
Patterned paper, cardstock stickers: Farmhouse Paper Company.
Alphabet: American Crafts.
Veneer: Studio Calico.
Buttons: Basic Grey, other.
Ink: Zig, K and Company.
Adhesive: 3M, Glue Dots. |
Ethan's 1st grade class went on a field trip at the beginning of the school year to Gull Meadow Farms. I've already shared a double-page that I created with this, but I wanted to make a second page that focused on the orchard itself, rather than the class. The triangle photos add an interest not normally found on my pages, and I had a fun time determining where my triangles should be cut from the photos! You'll have to let me know if you give this sketch a try. I'd love to see what you come up with!
