Happy October!

I know it's been a while since my last post. Our lives have been flipped a little upside down for the past couple of weeks and, while I can't share with you why at the moment, it has caused my project rate to slow exponentially! With school, Simple Sketches, trying to get the kids into their school routines, and now this other thing, it has definitely kept me busy!

But today, I do have something to share with you from the Flamingo Scraps blog!

I had so much fun with it, and I hope you check it out for the details! The Basic Grey Persimmon line was great to work with, so please take a minute to head over and check out the details!

Head over to Simple Sketches and see the latest sketch by your's truly, but also make sure to check out the other pages that the fabulous design team came up with! I really love the combination of pages that the team produced on this one!

Oh, and because it wouldn't be fair to tease you without some eye candy, here's the page my sketch inspired from me!

It's a two-fer kind of day!

I've been getting lots of scrappy stuff done this month, despite starting back to school. Lucky for me, the homework load has been light, up to this point, and I've been able to put my Flamingo Scraps Warehouse Box to good use!

You've, no doubt, seen that I've been scrapping Little League photos recently, as I've just now got to that point in time in my backlog of photos. I'm pretty well reserved to the fact that I will never be caught up, so long as I keep on living life, and I'm OK with that. But, it works better for my brain to scrap chronologically, as much as possible, anyway, and so you'll be seeing a few more of these pages in the upcoming weeks. I really loved using the Pink Paislee Declarations line to make this page. I hadn't thought of it before I saw it in my box, and immediately dug the rest of it out of my stash so I could use it all up. I had originally started using the Fancy Pants Little Sport collection, but the two work well together, and baseball is the "American Past Time," after all!

Be sure to check out my page on the Flamingo Scraps' blog, as well! And stay tuned for my Simple Sketches post, coming up in about an hour!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Having a pouty up in here!

I'm up over at the Flamingo Scraps blog today with this incredibly adorable layout of my friend Genie's daughter, Ellie. Head over to see how I managed to come up with this little page chocked full of cuteness!
